Sustainability Report
In Sustainability Report, Prosafe will communicate to its stakeholders how the Company integrates environmental, social and governance factors into its business strategy, decisions and operations in order to ensure long-term sustainable development and profitability.
The Company will describe Prosafe’s ESG focus areas and results, focusing on how we respond to climate change, treat our people, and ensure responsible business conduct.
Prosafe complies with governmental laws and rules and regulations applicable to its business. The Company adheres to international recognised principles and guidelines such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the key conventions of the International Labour Organisation, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the principles of the United Nations Global Compact.
The Sustainability Report for 2023 is integrated in the Annual report for 2023 >> on pages 11 – 33 and 115 – 124.
This report has been prepared to meet the disclosure requirements of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Marine Transportation and Oil and Gas Services Standards (2023), with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards (2021). The report adheres to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) requirements of the Norwegian Accounting Act section 3-3c and follows the guidance of the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association for ESG reporting. Prosafe has followed the recommendations of the Financial Stability Board’s Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The report covers material environmental, social and governance impacts, and the management approach of Prosafe for the 2023 calendar year.
